HOW TO BUILD A PERSONAL BRAND ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Want to build a trusted personal brand on Facebook, grow the engagement on your post and sell your stuff with ease?

Here’s what you should do…

𝟭. 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Your profile picture should be clean, have your face on it and must be something you’d be proud to have on a magazine/flyers.

If it doesn’t meet up to this, you should consider changing it.

𝟮. 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗼.

Let your bio tell people what you represent and how you can help them.

Sell yourself via your bio.

𝟯. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Your content must be valuable to the audience you wish to attract.

People would always engage with a piece of content they find valuable.

Value is like a sugar that attracts the ants.

The goal of your content should be to…

– 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞
– 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦
– 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞
– 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧

You should endeavor to provide actionable piece of information that would help make other people’s lives better.

If you can do that, they’ll always come back for more.

Naturally, humans are Olivr Twist (metaphorically).

𝟰. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁, 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆.

You’ll decide if you want to deliver your content via video, text or a combination of both.

Frequency and recency would help keep your content in front of people for long.

The more they see your post, the more they notice your presence and identify with you.

𝟱. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Don’t come here and be speaking grammar unless you’re building an audience of people who identify you as a grammarian.

Otherwise, keep it simple and pass your message clearly.

𝟲. 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀.

Join groups where your target audience converge and become resourceful there.

Publish helpful information on the groups and leave meaningful comments there too.

It would draw people to you.

𝟳. 𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Aside my business stories and encounters, I have so many banny tales.

You’ll wonder if all I do in my life is chill with bannies (I love to chill with bannies anyway. I grew up surrounded by bannies)

𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅, 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆.

𝟴. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲.

You can’t grow influence if you copy people’s style and fail to add your own genius to it.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞, 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞, 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐎𝐔.

𝟵. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

You’ll find so many people doing the same thing online and it’s difficult to differentiate between them.

Be unique, build a personality, be a brand that people can identify from afar.

If you desire long term sustainable results, you must create an identity for yourself.
